Depending on your experience, make $1,550, $1,800 or $2,000 each week for your first 8 weeks. If you earn more, we'll pay you the difference after your eighth week. There's no need to repay us if you earn less.

What It Takes to Join the ATS Heavy Haul Team:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 6 years of verifiable over-the-road (OTR) experience
- At least 2 years of verifiable over-dimensional experience
- Meet DOT qualifications and maintain a safe driving record

ATS offers two paths into heavy haul. Experienced heavy haul drivers can apply directly to the fleet, while drivers without over-dimensional experience can start in ATS's Specialized division and advance over time. As you build experience hauling increasingly complex freight and maintain a strong safety record, you'll have opportunities to move into heavy haul and operate specialized equipment like multi-axle and Schnable trailers.
- What experience do I need to drive heavy haul for ATS?

To qualify for an ATS heavy haul company driver position, you must have a valid Class A CDL, at least six years of verifiable OTR experience, and two years of over-dimensional hauling experience. Drivers must also meet DOT requirements and maintain a safe driving record. If you don't yet meet the heavy haul requirements, ATS offers a path to gain experience in its Specialized division before advancing into heavy haul.

Qualified drivers may also be eligible for orientation bonuses, including increased incentives for those with Schnable trailer experience.
