Starting a new OTR heavy haul truck driving job shouldn't mean wondering what your paycheck will look like. That's why ATS offers guaranteed weekly pay for your first eight weeks.
- $1,550 per week
- $1,800 per week
- $2,000 per week
Your guaranteed amount depends on your experience. If your earnings exceed the guarantee during those eight weeks, ATS pays the difference after week eight. If you earn less, you don't have to repay the guarantee.

OTR Heavy Haul CDL-A Driver Requirements:
To qualify for a heavy haul company driver position, applicants must:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Hold a valid Class A CDL
- Have at least six years of verifiable over-the-road (OTR) experience
- Have at least two years of verifiable over-dimensional hauling experience
- Meet DOT qualifications
- Maintain a safe driving record
Don't yet meet the over-dimensional experience requirements? ATS also offers opportunities to build specialized trucking experience through its flatbed division before advancing into heavy haul.
OTR Heavy Haul Truck Driver Pay and Bonuses:
- Starting pay of $0.77 per mile (CPM), plus accessorials
- Over-dimensional pay equal to 25% of the amount billed to the customer
- $3,000 orientation bonus
- $5,000 orientation bonus for drivers with Schnable experience
- Weekly pay with direct deposit
- Per diem at no cost
- Guaranteed weekly pay during the first eight weeks
Min $0.77 CPM | Max $2.97 CPM
Top 50% earning $102,100+ | Top 20 % earning $131,900+
