What Is the ATS Driver Referral Program?
Our Driver Referral Program lets current ATS drivers, whether a company driver or independent contractor, earn cash rewards when they refer new CDL-A drivers to join our team.
Whether you drive over-the-road (OTR), flatbed, or specialized freight, every driver you refer earns you a bonus.
How Much Can I Earn Per Referral?
Some ATS drivers add 10% or more to their annual income just by referring other drivers to the fleet. Here's a simplified version of how it breaks down:
- First Referred Driver = $1,000 payout
- Second Referred Driver = $1,500 payout
- Every additional driver within the same calendar year = $2,000/referral
And the best part? There's no cap on how much you can earn!
How to Refer a Driver
- Simply fill out the form on this page or go into the ATS Driver App
- Tap "Referral" on the top right-hand side of your screen (in the Driver App)
- Provide the driver’s contact information, including name, email address, and/or phone number.
Then sit back and we’ll do the rest.
Who Can I Refer?
- CDL-A licensed drivers (minimum 12 months experience preferred)
- Drivers who meet ATS' safety and hiring standards
- Must not already be in contact with ATS Recruiting

- Why would I refer drivers? Won't they take my freight?

No; carriers need to keep their trucks full, so they are always looking to hire drivers, whether you refer them or not.
Referring drivers actually helps get you more freight. The more drivers a carrier has, the more freight opportunities they receive for their drivers.
Referring drivers who live near you is especially advantageous. When more drivers are concentrated in one area, it strengthens our position to bid on local freight.
- Is there a limit to how many drivers I can refer?

No, there’s no limit to the number of drivers you can refer to ATS.
- What is the earning schedule?

Earn $1,000 for your first referred driver, $1,500 for your second, and $2,000 for every additional driver you refer within the same calendar year.
You'll receive half of the bonus when the referred driver completes orientation certification, and the remaining half after they've been on the fleet for 30 days.
The referral earnings schedule resets at the start of each calendar year.
