Jeff Crisp says he only wanted to know one thing from his fellow truckers when he was looking around for a better job. “I asked everyone, ‘how does your company take care of its drivers?’ because that’s what’s important to me, and it’s a good measure of what kind of company you’ll be dealing with,” says Crisp, a father of three who hails from Missouri. “All I heard was good things about Anderson so that’s the company I came to.”

That was nearly five years ago, and Crisp says those recommendations in favor of ATS have turned out to be true. “This place is 100% driver oriented. Everyone from the top to the bottom cares about drivers. It’s a good steady income and a very good way to provide for my family. Knowing that my little girls are taken care of financially is the reason I’m working,” says Crisp, an owner operator who is now six months into buying his own truck.

When I got word that my niece had died in a car accident, I informed ATS and they told me to drop my trailer and go take care of family. They even helped with the fuel money. ‘Let us know when you want to come back,’they told me. A while later, I got nearly the same message when my wife was taken to the emergency room with heart issues.My dispatcher just kept telling me ‘if there’s anything you need let me know’ and they meant it!”
