ATS Raises Regional Van Driver Pay to $0.70 Per Mile
Anderson Trucking Service announced one of the largest driver pay increases in company history, raising regional company van driver pay from $0.60 to $0.70 per mile, with rates reaching up to $0.72 per mile based on years of service.
ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Anderson Trucking Service (ATS) announced one of the largest driver pay increases in company history. The increase raises cents-per-mile (CPM) pay for regional company van drivers from $0.60 to $0.70 per mile, with rates reaching up to $0.72 per mile based on years of service.
The $0.10 CPM increase took effect on Monday, September 7, for all ATS regional company van drivers. The higher rate applies to approximately 50 current drivers and establishes a more competitive starting rate for new hires.
ATS made the adjustment to better align driver pay with today’s freight market. For drivers, the 16.7% pay increase translates into stronger earnings without requiring additional miles, with the higher CPM applying to both loaded and empty miles. For ATS, the higher pay range strengthens its ability to recruit and retain professional drivers.
