An OTR Truck Driving Career That Gets You Home

It can be difficult to get home when you want to as an OTR dry van driver, especially when your carrier doesn’t respect your needs. You’re working hard to support your loved ones — don’t you think you deserve to see them every now and then?

If getting home regularly is important to you, but you like the lifestyle of an OTR truck driver, look to Anderson Trucking Service (ATS). You’ll get home every two weeks if that’s what you want. All you have to do is ask.

Move the Type of Dry Van Freight You Want

Most dry van drivers tell us they decided on that career for a reason — they don’t want to touch the freight. After all, that’s a perk of the job. So it’s frustrating when your carrier keeps booking loads that require you to load and unload.

We consistently book no-touch freight for our OTR company dry van drivers, so if you’re ever asked to help load and unload know it’s not a regular occurrence. In fact, a lot of the freight you’re asked to pull will be drop and hook — so you’ll be running more instead of sitting.
