As anyone in the trucking business well knows, two million miles is quite a long haul. With all those miles Bill Borger has racked up, he could have driven to the moon and back – twice.

Now working in the heavy haul division, Bill has been at Anderson Trucking Service for about 15 years. As he’ll tell you up front, he wouldn’t have stuck around for that long, and driven over two million miles, if he didn’t enjoy what he did and where he has worked. “They make every effort here at Anderson to help you out with what you need,” Bill stated.

Bill’s been driving for close to 30 years, so he’s no stranger to the trucking industry. Being in the business, he knows what he wants from the company he works for and he sees all of that in Anderson. “I’ve seen only positive changes over the years,” Bill said. “They haven’t taken any steps backward like some companies tend to do. The changes have been for the better for everyone.”

The biggest draw for Bill is Anderson’s family-oriented atmosphere. He says it’s clear that family comes first here. That’s important to him – and even more important, he says, in keeping his wife happy. “When I need to get home, they get me home,” Bill stated.

Home for Bill is the small town of Minnesota City, Minnesota. “I’ve got more tires on my truck than people in this town,” Bill laughed in reference to his city with a population of just 120. He says the small town life is what he likes best. When he’s off the road, he spends his days at home with his wife, Jeanette, and catching up with his 4 children and 3 grandchildren. He’s even got another grandchild on the way to keep him busy down the road.
